Panama has officially been reinstated on the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (Paris MoU) White List<\/strong>, marking a significant milestone for one of the world’s largest ship registries. The recognition reflects sustained improvements in the performance of Panamanian-flagged vessels during Port State Control (PSC) inspections and highlights the country’s continued commitment to maritime safety and regulatory excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Paris MoU White List is considered one of the most respected international benchmarks for assessing the quality and performance of flag administrations. Inclusion on the list indicates that vessels flying a country’s flag consistently comply with international maritime conventions and demonstrate high standards of safety, environmental protection, and operational performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panama’s return to the White List follows several years of targeted reforms aimed at strengthening oversight of its merchant fleet and improving compliance with international regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
