Mission to Seafarers – WeCare Programme

The WeCare Programme, supported by the UK Club, is a structured wellbeing initiative designed specifically for seafarers and their families.

Programme Components:

  • Financial Literacy Module
  • Social Communication Module

The strength of the WeCare Programme lies in its inclusive approach, supporting not only seafarers onboard but also their families and loved ones ashore, helping to strengthen financial confidence, communication, and emotional resilience.

The Sailors’ Society – Wellness at Sea Programme & App

The Wellness at Sea Programme combines targeted wellbeing training with the Wellness at Sea App, enabling seafarers to:

  • Monitor physical and mental wellbeing
  • Access self-help tools and guidance
  • Stay informed about crew wellbeing initiatives

Seafarers are strongly encouraged to engage proactively with available wellbeing resources and to regularly monitor their own health and wellbeing.

ISWAN – SeafarerHelp

SeafarerHelp is a free, confidential, multilingual helpline, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for seafarers and their families.

Port Chaplain Network – Confidential Onboard Support

The following organisations provide trained port chaplains who can visit vessels while in port and offer confidential, non-judgemental support to seafarers:
