Malaysia Introduces a New Marine Sensitive Area
Malaysia has designated a Marine Sensitive Area under its EEZ Regulations 2026 (MSA Notice 01/2026), in force since 11 September 2026. Anchoring is prohibited inside the area, except for search and rescue, forced anchoring due to damage, or specific pollution response. Plan ahead, stay compliant, sail safe.
