What Happens Without a Valid Inspection?

Action Required — Owners & Managers
- Check vessel age — Identify any Dry Bulk or General Cargo vessels built in 2015 or earlier.
- Verify inspection status — Confirm whether a valid RightShip Inspection is on record.
- Book early — Submit your inspection request before 1 July 2026 to avoid scheduling delays.
- Consider Hybrid Inspection — Pre-submitting documentation reduces on-board time to 8–10 hours.
For Charterers
Full visibility of vessel inspection status remains available in the vetting process. RightShip’s Vetting Rules will be updated to reflect Phase 3 requirements.
